I dined here with my hopes of finally answering my craving for a good old chirashi bowl. I was surprised that they don’t serve chirashi. Eh. I had the spicy tuna hand roll and rainbow roll instead. It was good. Fresh, well put together and the rice was on point. The service was excellent, the servers were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is average, typical sushi restaurant ambiance.
They have some unique sushi here and really tasty!! Worth a try! Special the spicy tuna lemon, it was amazing .

5 of us ordered 10 dishes and every single one of them was DELICIOUS! They have such creative rolls I've never tasted anywhere else. Baked Langostino Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, Crunch Onion Albacore Sashimi are excellent. Fat Avocado, Spicy Garlic Edamame and Chicken Karaage appetitizer were perfect for beer. Lastly I forgot the name of the roll, it was roll with cream cheese on top was mind blowing. Definately visit again soon.
Kumadori Sushi is great. Very delicious. Having explored sushi houses around the world, I can confidently say that Kuma Dori surpasses them all in terms of quality and flavor. The sushi quality was so good, very fresh. I highly recommend Crunchy Albacore, Sexy Roll, and Dynamite Hand Roll. It's easily one of my favorite places for a sushi splurge. I definitely want to come back to try their happy hour specials.
Combine dinner with a large party and delicious sushi, and you can get no better place than Kumadori Sushi in Glendale, California, in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) to have your friends gather at. They recently celebrated 10 years (Happy Birthday!) and we were able to enjoy our meal in their private second room that’s available for events and large parties. With ENDLESS options of sushi rolls, sashimi, appetizers, main entrees and more, everyone sure was satisfied and it was surprisingly did not take long to order for our group
Kuma Dori delivers an exceptional sushi experience. While it leans on the pricier side, the high-quality ingredients and expert preparation justify the cost. The spicy seafood ramen and tempura udon were both flavorful and satisfying. The salmon roll stood out for their freshness and savory flavors. The service at Kuma Dori was welcoming, polite, and attentive. The restaurant's cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. We both left feeling that this is a place we'd love to revisit. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates sushi!
